Ba-Ba Birth Me
For those of you who have experienced the Journey of childbirth.. I commend you!
For those of us who haven’t.. we’re quite curious!
We wanna know your Journey. From waterbreaking to umbilical cord snipping, from the first contraction to the last push, from perinium rip to stitching (ok that was a bit much huh). We wanna hear it all.
Why? Because we are a community! We’re a community of learners, seekers, wanderers, yearners, healers, students, masters, teachers … we’re everyone. And there is nothing more exquisite than listening to others experiences.
Everyone loves a great story and Consciously Birthing is Co-Creatively writing a book with the help of all you Beautiful, Creative Mothers who have truly experienced one of the greatest Journeys imaginable!
So here are the details:
Story should be G-rated to a certain extent – but it’s birth not a playdate so we understand. If you have a sense of humor let that shine through.
Story must be real and true to self – meaning you shouldn’t take someone elses Birth Journey and claim it for your own w/o giving credit where due; no plaigarism please =)
Story can contain any form of birthing method – natural, medicated, induced, lotus, hypno, vbac .. we’re ALL curious to YOUR unique Journey so lay it on us!
Include a picture if you’re not too shy – again, keep ’em G-rated.
Please include how the Birth experience changed your world.
ALL stories will be read and considered for publishing. If your story is used in the upcoming book you will be compensated based on your needs (no monetary value) and mentioned in the book, of course!
The book is a fun-loving, Co-Create way of honoring our Mothers, Fathers, Aunts, Uncles, Grandparents, Sisters, Brothers, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins baby-daddy’s friend, etc… and what better way to make HERstory (that’s history for you guys out there) than through words and pictures, to last a lifetime.
Your experience is Golden. Thank You!
